It’s almost time for all the crazy inter city new music festivals to start! The sort where you spend a weekend running around a city going to see as many bands as possible. Great Escape, Live at Leeds, Dot to Dot all fit into this festival category, as does this one which takes place this upcoming weekend, The Camden Crawl.
Thankfully, Camden Crawl takes place in Camden, an area of London I know very well so I shouldn’t have any difficultly navigating myself around seeing all the bands I want to see. It’s a festival I have never been to before and so I am really looking forward to it! I have decided to separate my Camden Crawl previews into 2 days, so here is all the bands you should go and check out on Saturday. Sunday coming tomorrow.
Boy Friend
Really looking forward to seeing Boy Friend! The band hail from Austin and will be bringing their oozy woozy brand of dream pop to rainy London.
Fear of Men
Girls sing indie pop, much better than it sounds.
Willy Moon
A MUST SEE for any one sensible. Got a feeling Willy Moon might be pretty epic live.
Trevor Moss & Hannah Lou
I saw these two play at WOOD festival last year and it was just lovely. They have such nice chemistry on stage.
Evi Vine
Such beautiful haunting sounds from Evi Vine.
