I posted a Dillion video a few days ago as part of my Great Escape post. I’ve been listening to bit of her for ages after randomly stumbling across her on YouTube once. I figured it would now be the best time to introduce you all to her properly, so here is the adorable Dillon.
Dillion is the stage name of Dominique Dillon de Byington. She’s from Germany and released her debut album ‘This Silence Kills’ late last year. Her music is beautiful, expressive and a lot like Lykke Li actually. ‘Thirteen Thirtyfive’ one of the tracks below is an exceptionally piano ballad and some of her other tunes have more electronic influence. Her voice has strength but also a lot of uniqueness. Dillon is currently on tour and will be coming to the UK in May to play The Great Escape festival and a one off date at London’s The Slaughtered Lamb.
